School Readiness

At Whiz Kidz we recognise the importance in giving your child the skills to be ready for Primary School.

“it takes a village to raise a Child..”

Starting School can be overwhelming for children and families. At Whiz Kidz we recognise this step as an important part in our families lives. We aim to work in partnership with our families to prepare your child for School. We want children to be confident, involved, participating learners ready with the skills both socially, emotionally and cognitively to cope at school.

Our curriculum has a strong focus on learning through play and getting children engaged in all their fundamental learning areas through Project investigations.

The back bone of Our Preschool Program Is the Early Years Learning Framework:

  • Australia’s first national Early Years Learning Framework for early childhood educators.
  • AIM: is to extend and enrich children’s learning from birth to five years and through the transition to school.
  • The Council of Australian Governments developed this to assist educators to provide young children with opportunities to maximise their potential and develop a foundation for future success in learning.
  • EYLF will contribute to realising the Council of Australian Governments’ vision that: “All children have the best start in life to create a better future for themselves and for the nation.”
